A Survey on Denoising Techniques of Electroencephalogram Signals Using Wavelet Transform

Electroencephalogram (EEG) artifacts such as eyeblink, eye movement, and muscle movements widely contaminate the EEG signals. Those unwanted corrupt information contained in signals degrade performance of qualitative analysis clinical applications well EEG-based brain–computer interfaces (BCIs). The wavelet transform denoising are increasing day by due to its capability handling non-stationary All reported techniques for surveyed this paper terms quality noise removal retrieving important information. In order evaluate express reconstruction, were evaluated based on results shown respective literature. We also compare certain features evaluation techniques, requirement reference channel, automation, online, a single channel.
